Featuring a more powerful motor and an optional BowGuard mount with a beefy spring-protected shaft, the Riptide Maxxum is built to stand the test of time. The Minn Kota Riptide Fortrex is a step-up from the Riptide Maxxum as it features a super heavy-duty aluminum mono arm along with a stainless steel, nitrogen charged gas spring that makes stowing and deploying the motor similar to opening up the tailgate on an SUV.
