A colourful and hardy grass that is sure to bring some excitement to your garden displays. The Miscanthus ‘Ferner Osten’, or Japanese Silver Grass, is a clump-forming shrub with long, arching green leaves which turn to a dull copper-orange as the seasons progress to Autumn. Feathery masses of tiny, deep red flowers appear around that period, fading to pink and silver towards the beginning of Winter. A great choice for rockeries or herbaceous borders. Plant in moist, moderately fertile, well-drained soil and keep in full sun.
