Item Name: Moretti Effetre Rod - Opalino Grass Green - 5mm - 6mm SKU: 1556520 Description: This is an Effetre Moretti soft glass color rod in Green Grass Opalino. It is manufacture d as a solid, round rod and pulled to a working diameter range of 5–6 mm so it can be introduced directly into a lampworking flame. Opalino colors are valued for their soft, luminous opacity, making them useful when you want a green that reads clearly over both light and dark bases without the harshness of an ultra-opaque. How it is used: Use as a primary color rod for beadmaking, small sculptural work, and decorative surface applications. Heat the rod in a neutral-to-slightly-oxidizing flame and apply as wraps, dots, or thin layers over a base bead or form. Pull stringer from the rod for fine linework, detailing, and controlled color placement. Use for casing accents or layered color effects where you want a gentle, opalescent green rather than a transparent green. Dimensions: Rod diameter: 5mm – 6mm Show more
