Cala Iancu is a Mediterranean white from the eastern part of Sicilia. Il Mortellito blends native island grapes, Grillo and Catarratto, on calcareous soils that give the wine a sal ty edge. Simple facts, very clear result: island white with the sea not far away. Fish and white meat are the natural pairings. Best served seafront, if life is kind.
