Toadflax Toadflax is full of character and adored by bees. It is ideal for dry, sunny borders and wild areas and flowers the year after sowing. Sow indoors for surest results, in t rays of compost. Cover very lightly with fine soil. Water well and place on a warm windowsill. A temperature of 15-20C is ideal. Seedlings appear in 14-42 days. Transplant seedlings 5cm apart to further trays when large enough to handle. Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions before planting out 25cm apart. Or sow outdoors in a seed bed, cover very lightly with fine soil. Keep moist and weed free. Thin seedlings to 5cm apart before planting out to flowering positions in spring or autumn, spacing 25cm apart.This is native grown seed, not taken from the wild. Show more
