Flowering the year after sowing, this cheery native perennial produces royal blue flowers which are highly attractive to bumblebees and other beneficial insects. It is ideal for dr y borders and heavy soils, especially areas which are left to grow wild. Requiring little maintenance, it’s very easy to grow. Height: 80cm Plant Class: Hardy Perennial Sow indoors for the best results, in trays of compost. Cover very lightly with fine soil. Water well and place on a warm windowsill at about 20C(68F). Seedlings should appear in 14-21 days. Transplant seedlings 5cm(2in) apart to further trays when large enough to handle.
