Mung Beans are small green legumes which are also known as “Green Bean or Bean Sprouts”. It is mostly cultivated in Asia and the subcontinent. These beans have a great protein level and on a commercial level, people are using them to add in protein powders, canned flavored soups and served them with the main course in some restaurants. These Mung beans have vitamin B along with copper, manganese, folate potassium, and zinc. You can sprout these beans by soaking them in water for 3 to 4 hours and then drain the water and put it in a bowl for a day to germinate it.
