Pipe-Mounted GRO Light for Refugiums The Neptune GRO uses a flat rectangular LED panel to spread light evenly over the refugium instead of creating the narrow beam pattern common with spotlight-style refugium lights. This helps reduce hot spots, improves coverage across rectangular refugium areas, and keeps useful light concentrated where macroalgae is growing. The Pipe Mount version is useful when there is no ideal flat sump edge for clamping, or when a cleaner installation can be achieved by attaching the light to existing plumbing. The flexible gooseneck allows the light panel to be aimed over the refugium while the pipe clamp keeps the mounting point away from the waterline.
