This teapot is made using Shudei (red clay) shaped on a potter's wheel. The surface is adorned with a red camellia motif. Both the second-generation Gyokko and the third-generation Gyokko are recognized as traditional craftsmen.All Gyokko teapots are equipped with a "Ceramesh" ceramic strainer for optimal performance.The clay used is a blend of Shudei (red clay) and Yakishime (high-fired unglazed clay), carefully shaped on a potter's wheel.As each piece is handmade, dimensions and capacities may vary slightly.
