Element Design and Heat Control An infinite switch controls the intensity of the heat coming from the lid element. If the switch remains in the OFF position, only the body elements will heat the kiln. If the infinite switch is set to the High position, all elements, both the body and the lid, heat at the same intensity. The kiln operator may choose to lessen the intensity of the lid element by turning the switch down. Standard Equipment, Controller, and Warranty Models come equipped with a pilot light, an 18″ tall metal stand or frame, a stainless steel jacket, a lid lift assist, and a Bartlett Instruments Kilnstar digital controller.
