WRAP Prime Waste Solidification + UV Post-Curing System The Onulis WRAP Prime is an automated photopolymer waste conversion system that combines waste recovery and UV post-curing i nto one compact desktop station. Post-processing typically requires one machine to post-cure parts and a separate machine, or third-party service, to dispose of liquid waste. The WRAP Prime simplifies your workflow by bringing both functions into a single machine, taking just seconds to switch from Print Mode to Cure Mode. With built-in carbon air filtration, automated operation, and integrated safety features, the WRAP Prime turns post-processing into a simple, hands-off step in your 3D printing workflow. WRAP™ Waste Conversion This system utilizes Onulis WRAP® (Waste Resin Axial Printing) technology, which uses an axial printing process to continuously cure liquid photopolymer resin into solid plastic stock that can be disposed of in a standard trash bin*. Waste resin is delivered to the system through a gravity-fed process, allowing the WRAP Prime to operate with minimal supervision once a cycle has been started. Liquid resin is processed at approximately 1 liter per hour, providing an efficient option for facilities that dispose of large quantities of photopolymer waste. It has a 7.5-liter vat capacity and the finished material is formed into a solid cylinder measuring approximately 14 inches in diameter × 8 inches deep. Rather than relying on pumps, valves, and hoses that can become clogged with cured resin, the WRAP Prime uses a patent-pending drip comb to separate the resin into individual droplets as it enters the curing area. This controlled droplet formation helps expose the resin more effectively to UV light for efficient curing, while the simple gravity-fed design reduces the number of internal components that can clog or require maintenance. *Please Note: Whether cured resin can legally be disposed of as non-hazardous or household waste depends on the specific material, its SDS, the completeness of the cure, and applicable local regulations. Onulis specifically advises users to confirm disposal requirements with their local municipality. UV Post-Curing Unlike the WRAP Pro, the WRAP Prime also includes automated UV part curing. Place your cleaned parts into the chamber, select the appropriate material cure time, and let the WRAP Prime complete the process automatically using your custom settings. The WRAP Prime features a microprocessor-controlled temperature and cure duration that help prevent uncontrolled heat from causing parts to warp during post-curing. Instead of using broad-spectrum bulbs that introduce unwanted infrared heat, this system uses focused UV light that provides better control during the curing process. Four high-powered UV light arrays surround a transparent, rotating curing table, allowing UV light to reach the top, sides, and downward-facing surfaces of the part simultaneously. This eliminates the need to repeatedly stop the curing process and manually reposition smaller parts for complete UV exposure. Each WRAP Prime is individually measured, calibrated, inspected, and documented before shipment, including wavelength and irradiance measurements for its UV arrays. This provides traceable documentation of the curing system's performance and helps manufacturers maintain a repeatable post-processing workflow. Recommended cure times are material-dependent and generally range from 5–30 minutes.
