Onulis® WRAP Pro™ Waste Solidification System (PolyJet, P3, SLA, DLP)
WRAP Pro Waste Solidification System The Onulis WRAP Pro provides an automated solution for converting unused, expired, and compatible waste photopolymer resin into fully cured sol id plastic stock that can be disposed of in a standard trash bin*. Designed for additive manufacturing environments that regularly work with liquid resins, the WRAP Pro provides a practical way to bring the resin disposal process in-house rather than relying on outsourced hazardous waste services. At the center of this system is Onulis WRAP® (Waste Resin Axial Printing) technology, which uses an axial printing process to continuously cure liquid photopolymer resin into a solid cylindrical form. Waste resin is supplied to the system through a gravity-fed delivery process. Once the resin is loaded and the cycle is started, the WRAP Pro operates automatically and stops according to your programmed time. The system can process compatible waste resin at approximately 1 liter per hour, providing an efficient option for facilities that generate significant quantities of photopolymer waste. This system is compatible with PolyJet, SLA, and DLP photopolymer resins and supports low-, medium-, and high-viscosity materials using interchangeable vat configurations. With a 7.5-liter vat capacity and approximately 1-liter-per-hour processing rate, WRAP Pro provides a streamlined solution for additive manufacturing labs, service bureaus, and production facilities that regularly generate unused or expired photopolymer resin. WRAP Pro is designed to accommodate waste generated by several common vat photopolymerization and material jetting processes, including PolyJet, P3, SLA, and DLP technologies. Different vat configurations allow the system to accommodate variations in resin viscosity and material behavior, expanding its usefulness across additive manufacturing workflows and facilities operating multiple types of resin-based 3D printers. *Please Note: Whether cured resin can legally be disposed of as non-hazardous or household waste depends on the specific material, its SDS, the completeness of the cure, and applicable local regulations. Onulis specifically advises users to confirm disposal requirements with their local municipality. WRAP Pro Features Automated Resin Waste Conversion: Converts unused, expired, and compatible waste photopolymer resin into fully cured solid plastic stock. WRAP® Axial Printing Technology: Continuously builds cured resin around a rotating Disposable Tube to create a solid cylindrical form. Gravity-Fed Resin Delivery: Uses gravity to deliver resin from the vat into the curing chamber without relying on resin pumps. Drip Comb Resin Distribution: Separates liquid resin into droplets as it enters the curing area for controlled UV exposure. Approximately 1 L/Hour Throughput: Provides efficient processing for facilities that regularly generate photopolymer waste. 7.5-Liter Vat Capacity: Processes a full vat in approximately six hours. Automatic Operation: Automatically stops after the programmed print time or when the Disposable Tube reaches capacity. Automatic Final Cure: Performs a final curing cycle before the finished plastic stock is removed from the machine. Multiple Resin Viscosities: Supports Low-, Medium-, and High-Viscosity Vats for different compatible photopolymer materials. Included Viscosity Testing Tool: Helps operators select the appropriate vat before processing resin. PolyJet, SLA & DLP Compatibility: Supports waste resin generated by several common resin-based additive manufacturing technologies. Reusable Solid Plastic Stock: Finished material can be used as low-cost stock for CNC prototypes, jigs, fixtures, and other secondary applications. Integrated Carbon Air Filtration: Helps limit resin vapors during operation. The system should still be operated in a well-ventilated environment. Automatic Door Lock: Keeps the chamber secured while the system is operating. Certified UV LED Arrays: WRAP Pro includes certified LED arrays with calibration and traceability documentation to support consistent curing performance.
