They are composed of 2 parts : a pair of stud earrings + a pair of fan-shaped plates with a little hole. 1. To wear ear jackets simply insert the stud earring through your ear, place the fan plate on the ear-post behind your lobe, and block it with the little backing. The fan plate will seam to float on your ear!2. You can of course enjoy the stud earrings worn on their own too, for a minimalistic look. 3. And with this design, you can wear both parts together as normal earrings (in front of the lobe) - they look incredibly good this way too. This means you have 3 ways to wear this pair of earrings!____...and if you want to go for an even more versatile set, you can get yourself removable ear-wires, or thin silver hoops - that combine beautifully with the fan-plates, transforming them into dangling earrings. ____DETAILS • Material : copper and silver • Color : copper with oxidized finish, highlighting the vegetal imprint. Metal is my muse!NOTE: The look of the earrings may vary depending on the size of your earlobes and where the piercing is placed. The hight of this design cannot be adjusted - there is only one hole. If you want to measure your ear to figure out how much of the fan will be visible behind your lobe, measure your ear from the piercing hole to the bottom of your lobe. The fan measures ±1,5cm (0,59"), from the little hole to the bottom of the fan. About the vegetal imprintThe process of "printing" the vegetal/feather onto the metal is a very magical one. It is done using a rolling mill, compressing the dried vegetal onto the metal - leaving a very fine and detailed relief of the plant. I then oxydize the metal - making it fully dark grey, then sand it very softly to reveal the details. Each imprint is truly unique, as is each little plant!
