Description ❯ The defining feature of Patchone is its movement from dry, earthy, woody, and patchouli-like to clean camphor, dark wood, and a persistent amber trace. The material e arns its place in patchouli accords, woods, ambers, fougères, and modern earthy fragrances by helping to give the composition structure, depth, and continuity beneath brighter notes. With Patchone, the earth & wood effect is most useful when it strengthens the intended accord rather than drawing attention to the raw material itself. Build the level slowly, because overstatement can make the accord harsh, dusty, or overly dry. A blotter establishes direction, but the finished base shows whether Patchone is supporting the formula or beginning to obscure it.
