This vector contains enhanced blue fluorescent protein - EBFP- driven by cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter for high level expression in mammalian cells. The multiple cloning site (MCS) is located at N terminus. This enables the generation of C-terminal EBFP fusion proteins, allowing researchers to monitor protein expression, intracellular localization, and cellular dynamics using fluorescence microscopy and live-cell imaging. Plasmid carries ampicillin resistance for bacterial selection and neomycin resistance for stable selection with G418 in eukaryotic cells. Total vector size 6124 bp. Research Use Only (RUO). Applications Generation of C-terminal EBFP fusion proteins Protein localization studies Live-cell fluorescence imaging Subcellular trafficking analysis Flow cytometry Suitable for transient and stable expression studies Features Strong CMV promoter for constitutive expression Bright Enhanced Blue Fluorescent Protein (EBFP) Suitable for a broad range of mammalian cell types Sequence-verified construct
