This vector contains enhanced cyan fluorescent protein - ECFP- driven by cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter for high level expression in mammalian cells. The multiple cloning site (MCS) is located at C terminus. This enables the generation of N-terminal ECFP fusion proteins. This plasmid carries ampicillin resistance for bacterial selection and neomycin resistance for stable selection with G418 in eukaryotic cells. Total vector size 6141 bp. Research Use Only (RUO). Applications Generation of N-terminal ECFP fusion proteins Protein localization studies Live-cell fluorescence imaging Subcellular trafficking analysis Flow cytometry Suitable for transient and stable expression studies Features Strong CMV promoter for constitutive expression N-terminal ECFP fusion design Bright Enhanced Cyan Fluorescent Protein (ECFP) Suitable for a broad range of mammalian cell types Sequence-verified construct
