Thoma Peppered Bacon comes from our friends at Thoma, one of our long time partners in the independent food economy. Producer notes: Brad Thoma owns and operates Thoma Farms and Thoma Meat Market. The family business began in 1945 by serving retail customers in Saxonburg and the surrounding communities with high quality meat products. They now operate a federally inspected, old fashioned butcher shop and meat market under the Thoma brand name. Their ingredients come from hand selected cattle and hogs purchased from local farmers. Brad himself is in charge of raising the sheep. The Thoma family has become an integral part of the agricultural landscape in Western PA. Show more
