Comp VX sits one step below the flagship CompQ in Kicker's SQ lineup, offering nearly identical build quality and output character at a more accessible price point.The Kicker Comp VX 10 (50CVX102 DVC 2Ω or 50CVX104 DVC 4Ω) is a 600-watt RMS subwoofer with 16.25mm of one-way Xmax, a SoloKon polypropylene cone with vented back bracing, ribbed Santoprene surround, cast aluminum basket with perimeter venting, UniPlate extended pole piece for heat dissipation, and Kicker's high-strength suspension. It's built on the same platform philosophy as the Solo-Baric L7 line, using the same core technologies scaled to fit a round subwoofer designed for musical output.The 0.80 cubic foot net volume matches Kicker's own recommended minimum sealed enclosure and produces a Qtc of 0.63 based on bench-measured T/S parameters. This is an extended musical alignment that gives the Comp VX 10 room to breathe, delivering deep low-end reach with excellent midbass articulation. Predicted F3 lands at 65 Hz, with strong cabin gain typical of trunk installations extending that meaningfully lower in-vehicle.Construction is the full Proline X Performance Optimized platform: ShopSabre CNC-cut Langboard Elite MDF with V-groove and dado joinery, all four corners radiused 3" viewed top-down, perimeter cross-bracing, and a double-layer 1.5" front baffle (two 3/4" MDF sheets bonded) for maximum baffle rigidity and driver isolation. Wedge geometry angles the cone rear-firing into the trunk at ~20° from vertical for optimum cabin loading.
