These beautiful Brass Beehive Door Knobs are turned from a solid brass bar to create a faithful reproduction of this classic design. Although more commonly found in Victorian/Edwardian period properties, because of their neat shape and size they sit very nicely in many cottage style properties too. They have been made to suit both mortice or rim locks and latches, the roses are loose allowing for one to be removed and the knobs are then secured onto the threaded spindle using a Grub Screw. There is a Large version of this door knob, please see picture above. Large Beehive is listed separately. The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more. Sold as a Pair and supplied with matching fixings. Always make a small pilot drill hole and use a manual screw driver to avoid damaging screws and finish.
