Who knew that tawashis are good for your furry friends? We are proud to offer Bernal Cutlery's first ever product for pets- a pet tawashi that is used to give massages for relaxation for your cats and dogs. Once you massage your animal with this, they will be begging you for more (Staff tested). Instead of the traditional palm used for regular tawashis, these are made from the softer fibers of a Cabbage palm leading to a gentle rub. You can even give yourself or your human friends rubs with this and it will bring you peace and calm too! (Also staff tested.) While most tawashis are now made in a factory, this tawashi is made by hand by Masatsumu Kitayama who has been making tawashis by hand for over 50 years. Great tawashis are made by carefully selecting high-quality palm fibers and taking care to create the perfect density, while maintaining a beautiful shape- steps that can only be done by hand. Mr. Kitayama only selects the softest and best quality palm fibers, and works on each tawashi by aligning the direction of the fibers and ensuring evenness of density.
