In 1610 the Ginglinger family planted their first vines in the area of Eguisheim in Alsace. Mathieu Ginglinger — the 12th generation — took over the running of the 15-hectare estate from his father Pierre Henri, and in 2001 the entire vineyards and wines were awarded Ecocert organic certification.
