The destemmed grapes were placed in stainless steel tanks for fermentation without crushing and macerated for 18 days. Punching down three times a day during the fermentation. Maturation in stainless steel tanks for 7 months. Only 15 ppm sulphite added at bottling. Limited production of only 316 bottles. This is the third vintage that domaine tetta has produced varietal wines from Pinot Gris. They have been working with this variety with great admiration and respect for the great producers of Friuli in northern Italy. For the 2022 vintage, they delayed the harvest to the limit and achieved the highest sugar levels ever. The wine is completely different from the Pinot Gris of the past two years, as it was made mainly from noble rot and ripe rot bunches. They believe it has the potential to age for a long time.
