Our rye obsession has only a couple of times in history taken us down the wheated rye road. This Project Release is one of them – a harmonious chorus of grains sees the force of ou r signature Mallee Rye bridled by the softness of Australian Malt Wheat and the subtle sweetness of Crystal Wheat Malt. Three years in a charred American oak barrel bring a touch of vanilla and notes of toasted timber. The nose is reminiscent of candied apples and cherry cola, and the palate is rich with allspice and nutmeg taking centre stage. A bold yet composed whiskey, best shared with friends. Show more
