The Protern Sensor (Live) uses a built-in global mobile connection. Turn it on in Copper, Zermatt, Ushuaia, or Narvik and it connects to the local network on its own. If a sensor enters a dead zone, the run is stored on the sensor and uploads on its own when the signal returns. Nothing is lost. Chile is the one exception. Mobile service there launches in 2027.
