Bing Cherry Tree is a popular sweet cherry cultivar that produces a strong crop of high-quality cherries that are deep red. While its mature size depends on its root graft, it has a rounded crown and bright green foliage. Its white flowers bloom in mid spring, and are followed by the berries that are ready for harvest in summer once old enough to start producing. Grows best in most, well-drained soils that are lightly acidic. Average age to fruit is 3-7 years. Needs a pollinator to set fruit; suggested partners are other sweet cherries such as Rainer, Van, Windsor, and Sam.
