Calling all hand-builders and sculptors alike! We have formulated a low to mid-fire sculpture body for demanding artists and craftsmen. Quarry is a coarse, oatmeal colored firing clay for modeling, tiles, press molding, and sculptural projects. It fires off white and displays its grog with a beautiful slight grain variation throughout. Although Quarry is successful at both a low-fire and mid-fire cone, we recommended matching your clear glaze with your designated firing temp to reduce the chances of crazing. It’s rough, it's tough, it’s ready and it works!
