Description The Quickie Descender™ is the unique descent control device for TRACE™ Systems that allows comprehensive capability in the worlds smallest and lightest micro rope system. It is an auto-locking descent control device designed specifically for use with the TRACE™ Systems rope. The QD™ incorporate force reduction through slippage at a specific force window. The QD™ is used for the following operations: Rappelling Lowering Rope ascension Progress capture device (PCD) Belaying a lead climber Belaying a second climber NSN: 8465-20-010-2903 Attention: The Quickie Descender™ (QD™) is only sold as a component of a TRACE™ Systems kit as it can only be used with authorized TRACE™ Systems rope.
