The Quickie Descender-Guide is designed and engineered for use with 6mm rope and is ideal for backcountry guides or where a very light-weight descending system is desired. This pat ented, auto-locking device is quick and easy to deploy, being able to connect and dis-connect mid-rope. Critically, its design incorporates force-limiting through a calculated amount of rope-slip through the device if the system is suddenly loaded.
