RAK5801 is a WisBlock Interface module that expands the WisBlock ecosystem by providing two current measurement input channels. The module converts current signals into voltage signals so that they can be read directly by the analog input pins of a WisBlock Core module. With the provided ready‑to‑use software library and tutorial, it becomes straightforward to integrate sensors that output a 4–20mA current signal. The module supports two 4–20mA interfaces and includes a 12V power output for supplying connected sensors. An additional I2C interface connection is also accessible via the crimping terminal. By combining the RAK5801 with the RAK4631 WisBlock Core, the system can interface with industrial sensors and actuators that use the 4–20mA standard. This setup serves as a bridge between industrial sensing equipment and wireless communication technologies, including LoRaWAN®, LoRa® point‑to‑point communication, and BLE. Thanks to its low power consumption, the RAK5801 is suitable for battery‑powered applications. The WisBlock architecture also allows the module to be completely powered down when not in use, further minimizing total system power consumption. Key Features 4 to 20mA current to voltage converter.
