The RAK5801 is a WisBlock Interface module designed to extend the WisBlock system with two current measurement inputs. The module converts current signals into voltage signals that can be read by the analog input pins of a WisBlock Core module. With the available ready‑to‑use software library and tutorial, sensors that use a 4–20mA current output can be easily connected to the system. The RAK5801 supports two 4–20mA interfaces and provides a 12V power output to supply external sensors. In addition, an I2C interface connection is available through the crimping terminal for further integration. When used together with the RAK4631 WisBlock Core, the RAK5801 enables connectivity with industrial sensors and actuators that support the 4–20mA interface. This combination acts as a bridge between industrial sensing devices and wireless communication technologies such as LoRaWAN®, LoRa® point‑to‑point connections, or BLE. The RAK5801 is well suited for battery‑powered applications due to its low power consumption.
