Anabit's Reflex DAC is a fast, open-source reference design that features a 14-bit bipolar voltage DAC that turns SPI data into clean, precise analog signals. It delivers a wide ±10 V full-scale output at sample rate speeds up to 2 MSPS. It Features a precision 10 V on-board voltage reference for low noise and excellent stability that can be accessed by external circuits. The Reflex DAC runs from a single 5 V supply with integrated DC to DC converters and LDOs with high PSRR specifications to generate low noise +/- 12V rails for a clean bipolar output. Digital I/O is flexible: use 5 V logic by default or plug in an optional 2.7–5.0 V digital supply—the Reflex auto-detects and routes it to power the digital circuits (no jumpers). From precision DC levels that can be quickly changed to generating continuous waveforms that span a 20V range, the Reflex DAC delivers in an easy to use interface. Example use cases for the Reflex DAC: Industrial & Automation – Provides accurate bipolar control signals for actuators, loops, and HIL sensor simulations. Research & Development – Enables fast, flexible analog stimulus generation for labs and prototyping ADC, Op Amps, and general mixed-signal designs. Audio & Vibration Systems – Drives audio, ultrasonic, and piezo applications with high-resolution analog outputs. Education & Open Source Hardware – Serves as an accessible teaching tool or open-source platform for DAC, Op Amp, and DC to DC converter concepts and signal generation.
