A unique ring from the Retro (ca1950s) era! Crafted in platinum, this ring features an elaborate, square-shaped centerpiece, which is encrusted with sparkling rubies and diamonds. The center of the ring features a channel-set, oval cut ruby, from which 4 "rays" of channel-set rubies extend. The central "cross-shaped" gathering of rubies is encircled by a border of bead-set single cut diamonds. Each corner of the square-shaped centerpiece is completed by a cluster of channel-set, calibrated rubies. Overall, the rubies, which display a vibrant pink hue, have an approximate total carat weight of 1.40ctw. Each shoulder of the ring features 3, small, bead-set diamonds. Overall, the diamonds, which display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity, have an approximate total carat weight of .50ctw. The gallery of the ring features a delicate scrolling-motif cutout design.The remainder of the band is smooth and simple.
