Benefits Prevents Heartworm Disease: Selamectin prevents Dirofilaria immitis larval development into adult heartworms when administered within one month of exposure to infective larvae. Kills Fleas and Prevents Eggs: Kills adult Ctenocephalides felis fleas and prevents viable flea eggs from hatching for one full month, breaking the flea life cycle.
