The style of the Chianti Classico Riserva has maintained the same since 1975. It is a pure, and elegant expression of Sangiovese that has never chased trends. Made from a selection of the estate’s best grapes, aged in a small amount of oak. The 2020 shows bright ruby with garnet highlights, layered with spice, cranberry and blackberry, delivered on a palate that is juicy, punchy and precise. There’s depth and structure here, but always with Riecine’s signature finesse and a lightly salty, savoury finish.
