Annie Sews’ Sailor Slippers pattern is simple, clever, and a little bit magical. You knit the slippers big and floppy, then felt them into a sturdy, perfectly fitted pair. We loved the process so much we had to make a pair ourselves! These slippers are a quick, satisfying project—and they make wonderful gifts, too. We made ours in Ampersand Garamond held double to achieve the bulky weight that the pattern requires, and picked out our favorite color combinations. Each kit includes 1 skein each in three different colors. This will work for the first 4 sizes in the pattern. If you are making any size larger, you will need another skein of yarn in whatever color you will be using the most of. (This is usually the color you intend to use for the sole and i-cord edge). Single skeins can be purchased here. You can find all of the measurements and details on the Ravelry page to decide what size you would like to make. Pattern not included, but can be purchased here.
