This pot holder features beautiful sashiko stitching on one side, worked on vintage Japanese textile. The pattern is composed of repetitive masu-zashi, creating a neat and finely d etailed design. The reverse side is finished in a boro style, made from carefully arranged vintage fabric remnants, stitched together with expressive, random sashiko work. Each piece is carefully handmade by ITOTSUZURI, reflecting a thoughtful and enduring approach to making. A small loop allows for easy hanging. It can be used as a practical pot holder, or placed beneath a teapot or dish as part of a table setting.
