Simplex 4009-9807 — NAC Option Card (assembly 565-828) adding four conventional NACs to a 4009 IDNet NAC Extender.A 4009 IDNet NAC Extender ships with four NACs on its system board. When one enclosure must serve eight circuits — splitting floors, or separating audible and visible zones — this card adds NAC 5 through 8 instead of a second extender and battery set. Signal power comes from the system board, so the card draws on the extender's existing budget. Four added Class B (Style Y) NACs, each rated 1.5 A Class A (Style Z) needs the 4009-9808 Class A Adapter Card, up to two per card 10 kΩ, 1/2 W EOL resistor (P/N 378-030) on each circuit Yellow LED per NAC: slow flash a short, fast flash an open circuit Field wiring 18 AWG minimum, supervised, power-limited Fits the 4009 IDNet NAC Extender (4009-9201 / 4009-9301, including 4009A) — it is not an option card for the 4009 IDNAC Repeater. Installation also needs the 636-871 plate, 166-492 header and 733-972 harness, with SW1 position 7 set ON.
