A charming and rare machinist lamp by Simplex. Made in England. Circa 1930s. Steel construction with the original dark green painted finish, complete with dark green vitreous ename lled shade. Maker's marks to the shade mount and switch box. Mounted on a bespoke solid steel base. Articulation at arm joints with additional rotation at the turret base and shade mount. Supplied rewired with black braided cable (+2m), original ceramic bayonet (B22) lamp holder, original brass switch and UK plug. Tested for electrical safety.
