Operated by the Ngiriambu Farmers Co-operative Society, the washing station brings together the harvests of approximately 1,200 smallholder farmers from the surrounding villages. Predominantly planted with the prized SL-28 and SL-34 varieties, these high-elevation coffees are carefully washed and processed to showcase the bright, vibrant character that has made Kenyan coffee famous around the world.
