The ESPRIT 70EDX is a new model in the range, and is a compact gem of a telescope that is full-frame capable. Features an outstanding f/7 optical system, which includes one premium Japanese Hoya FCD100 ED glass lens element. Each air-to-glass lens surface has exotic anti-reflection metallic coatings applied, to ensure optimum light throughput approaching 99.5%!! The proprietary Sky-Watcher “Metallic High-Transmission Coatings” (MHTC) are the finest photon anti-rejection coatings in their class! The ESPRIT 70EDX does not include a rotatable main focuser but there is a rotatable adaptor provided on the focuser drawtube to assist with framing your images. A carrying handle is provided for convenience. Features a rock-solid CNC Machined dual-speed rack & pinion linear power focuser with high load capacity and zero image shift, with a 2.8" indexed drawtube.
