Our old-fashioned ham is a Robertson’s staple, our champion product. It’s sugar-cured and hickory-smoked for that classic country flavor, and it’s ideal for the holidays, dinner or any occasion. Our mouth-watering whole smoked ham is a crowd favorite for feeding a large number of people. Order it for an office party, wedding or any large gathering. Our Robertson's whole ham will feed approximately 20. A half ham will feed approximately 10-12. Preparing Your Robertson’s Ham Robertson’s hams are fully cooked, but there are a few steps for getting the best flavor: Remove the Ham from the all the packaging including plastic and netting. Rinse your ham with warm water and wrap in aluminum foil. Place in a shallow pan. Place in the oven and heat on 350° F. Whole ham – cook for 2 ½ - 3 hours.Half ham – cook for 1 ½ - 2 hours. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature. Slice and serve. Slicing a Whole Ham Place the shank end to your right, cut 2 or 3 slices lengthwise from the small side (near you on a left ham, away from you on a right ham). Lay the ham on the flat base you just created. Cut a wedge at the shank end. Make even, thin-to-medium slices across the large cushion of the ham, cutting down to the bone. Run the knife* along the leg bone to release the slices. Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the other side of the ham to complete slicing. *Electric knife suggested You can also serve your ham cold on sandwiches, or dice it for salad, omelets, baked potatoes (our favorite!) and more. When the meat is gone, you can use the bone to season great-tasting beans. How to Slice a Ham Video
