The Snugpak Arrowhead Jacket WGTE is a technical insulated jacket rated to -5°C comfort, built for military, tactical and professional users who need warmth without bulk. It develops Snugpak's internationally established Sleeka Elite, reworked around feedback from military personnel and recut from that jacket's relaxed fit to a closer technical one. It pairs the brand's exclusive Softie synthetic insulation with a windproof, water-repellent Paratex outer, giving a warm, breathable layer that works as a cold-weather mid-layer beneath a shell or as a standalone outer. Softie is Snugpak's own synthetic fill, spun from superfine polyester yarns for a down-like feel that, unlike down, keeps insulating when damp. The technical fit holds heat efficiently and layers cleanly over a base layer or under a load-carriage system, while the fully insulated zip-off hood adds warmth in hard cold and detaches in seconds for helmet use. It is offered in Olive Green, Black and Multicam from S to XXL, and packs into its supplied mesh-bottomed stuff sack at 29 x 17cm. Six Snugpak jackets are rated -5°C, and none of them is warmer than another. What separates them is what they are. The Arrowhead is the tactical one at 820g. The Sleeka Elite, the jacket this one develops, is the lightest at 740g and cut relaxed to go over other layers, packing smallest at 26 x 18cm. The Sleeka Elite Reversible is that same relaxed cut at 790g with two outer faces, Olive Green one way and Black the other. The SJ6 Jacket is the UK-made general-purpose one at 760g. The Tactical Softie Smock is a UK-made pullover at 760g with side vent zips that reach a holster or belt kit without taking it off. The Torrent Jacket is the only waterproof one, 10000mm hydrostatic head with fully taped seams, at 950g. Three of the six have a hood and three do not: this jacket's and the Torrent's zip off completely, the SJ6's rolls away, and the two Sleekas and the Smock have none, just a drawcord collar that sits cleanly under a helmet or a shell.
