This magnificent coffee table is a work of art from nature, taken from an oak tree which had to be felled for planned roadworks. It is a cross-section around 13 cm thick. It was cut approximately three metres above the ground, at the tree’s broadest section, just below where the trunk split into three large branches. That gives the table its enormous size and together with the tree’s age, estimated as 250 years old, imbues the table with a wealth of patterns, features, and textures. The table is not only beautiful, but unique. It is literally unrepeatable.
