The Roland drums machines have become so integral for many drummers, DJ's and musicians across the globe but there isn't a neat and efficient way to protect and carry this tool...until now. The drum machine slips in and out of the smart soft bag and even straps in so it's extra safe. The case is made from thick neoprene which is the same type of material that makes wetsuits surfers use in really cold water. The majority of Roland drum machines in use have the mounting stem attached to the bottom of the unit so that it can be attached to a stand. The 'grommet' is an attachment that allows for this rod to protrude through the external face of the SPD Voyager without adding unnecessary bulk to the case. You'll see in the some of the photos that there is a metal stem (the mounting plate) protruding from the SPD Voyager and the "Grommet" is the component on the SPD Voyager that enables this to pass through the outer layer of the soft case.
