Please join us this May for the closing dinner to the 2025 - 2026 season! Our dinner will be held at Café Panache in Ramsey, NJ on Sunday, May 3rd, starting at 5:30pm. Our dinner has been thoughtfully designed to showcase a progression of wines from Burgundy, Piedmont, and Tuscany, paired with a seasonal menu that we believe highlights both refinement and depth. The dinner will open with Bollinger Special Cuvée NV, a Pinot Noir–driven Champagne whose depth and subtle savory character make it an ideal complement to the evening’s opening amuse. From there, the menu builds in richness and complexity—moving through a precise Puligny-Montrachet, into a comparative pairing of Barolo and Brunello served across two courses, and concluding with a classic Barsac to accompany dessert. The menu and pairings are as follows: Amuse Wild Mushroom Spring Roll, Roasted Tomato Fondue Bollinger Special Cuvée NV First Course Seared Hokkaido Scallop, Morels, Asparagus Tips, Bacon, Fennel Confit, Spring Pea Coulis 2018 Maison Morey-Coffinet Puligny-Montrachet “Le Trézin” Second Course Filet Mignon Ravioli, Truffle Butter Emulsion, Bordelaise, Chive Oil 2010 Il Marroneto Brunello di Montalcino Entrée Braised Lamb Shank, Three-Hour Soft Polenta, Charred Baby Carrots, Citrus-Mint Gremolata 2004 Paolo Scavino Barolo Dessert Tart au Citron (Lemon Tart), Almond Short Crust, Strawberry Chantilly 2009 Château Coutet, Barsac A highlight of the evening will be the opportunity to experience the Barolo and Brunello side-by-side across two courses, offering a compelling contrast between the structure and aromatics of Piedmont and the purity and lift of Tuscany. We hope you will join us for what promises to be an engaging and memorable evening of food, wine, and conversation.
