The Steadfast Stopbar™ "Studio" (Nickel Plated) String-locking tailpiece in satin nickel-plated 6061 aluminum. Faster restrings and rock-solid tuning, in a low-sheen finish. Reverse string path for faster restringing Machined from billet 6061 aluminum Nickel-plated with a natural satin finish, suited to relic'd and vintage-style builds Includes our custom hex tool and a choice of set screws (Black Oxide or Stainless Steel) Fits both Imperial (US) and Metric (import) stud spacing Satin Nickel The Studio carries the same nickel plating as the Standard, left in a natural satin finish rather than polished to a mirror. It reads soft and low-sheen, which suits relic'd and vintage-style builds and stays understated on everything else. Under the finish it is the same billet 6061 bar and string-locking design as the rest of the line. The Steadfast Stopbar™ is the world's first string-locking tailpiece. The string is strung in reverse, held at the tuning post and locked at the bar under a set screw, so it never winds around the post. Removing that winding is what takes up to 75% off a restring. Locked at the bar, the string holds pitch as you tune and through bends and hard playing. The Studio is a direct drop-in on two-stud, top-mount guitars, with no routing or modification.
