Connect your air supply to the venturi vacuum. Activate only the valves that correspond to the length of the backsplash being cut — sequentially, one at a time. Place the stone against the cups and the vacuum holds it firmly in place. Step-cut to your target thickness. That’s it. Pro tip: Always activate valves one at a time in order. Activating them simultaneously can cause vacuum loss and failure to secure the stone.
