The Mariner Table Lamp is a porcelain urn table lamp by Mariner, combining a white glazed porcelain body, a square white marble plinth and polished gold-toned metalwork. It is designed to provide localised ambient and task lighting, bringing considered form and surface detail to bedside tables, consoles and side tables. Its neoclassical urn silhouette is punctuated by ornate scroll handles and a central decorative metal band with relief acanthus leaf carving and beaded edges. The tapered empire shade is pleated in white fabric and trimmed with thin black piping, a contrast detail that reinforces the lamp's formal character. The lamp body is formed from white glazed porcelain with vertical fluting for textural interest. A square white marble plinth with visible grey veining provides a solid base, while polished gold-toned metal accents appear on the central band, handles and pedestal mounts. The pleated empire shade is designed to diffuse light evenly across its surface, producing a soft, even glow suitable for local ambient illumination and close task work. The lamp’s proportions and shade treatment make it a good choice where balanced, low-glare light is required.Note that this item is made to order and cannot be refunded or returned. The heavy marble plinth is intended to give structural stability to the tall, slender assembly; check product measurements and installation guidance before ordering. At Lighting Design Online we present this Mariner table lamp to help you make a considered lighting decision.
