In this 2-hour taster class you'll be guided through the process of 'throwing' clay on a potter's wheel. You'll have a wheel to yourself for the duration of the class and as much clay as you need to experiment and get messy. In a small group of 4, you'll have plenty of one-on-one assistance from your tutor, Georgie. At the end of class you'll be able to choose your 2 favourite pieces to be glazed and fired. You'll need to come back and pick these up 3-4 weeks after the class finishes. If you don't live in Manchester, we can arrange postage for an additional fee on the day. Suitable for ages 12+ when attending with an adult. Runs fortnightly on Saturdays, with a late morning and an afternoon option. Groups of 4+ can book outside of these days/times as a private event.
