The wine enters the glass in a rich ruby red, releasing a bouquet of sun-ripened cherries and juicy blackberries, perfectly complemented by a fine liquorice note. On the palate, th ese flavours are intense and velvety at the same time. The finish is rounded off by balsamic hints. Riserva means that the wine has to age for at least 4 years in the cellar before being sold – this wine aged two years in French barriques followed by bottle aging. Show more
